Malaffi is Abu Dhabi's health information exchange: the platform through which licensed Abu Dhabi facilities share patient records so clinicians can see a patient's history across providers. For a clinic, participation is both technical — the EMR submits and retrieves data correctly — and governance-based: patient consent, role-based access control, staff-level audit trails and retention all have to be right.
