DHA License — apply, renew, activate, convert.

A DHA licence is issued by the Dubai Health Authority through the Sheryan portal and covers two things: the facility licence that lets a clinic legally operate, and the practitioner licence that lets a doctor, nurse or allied health professional treat patients in Dubai. New applications, renewals, reactivations of cancelled licences and conversions from MOH or HAAD all happen inside Sheryan — and a single lapsed practitioner licence is the most common reason a fully-staffed clinic suddenly cannot bill insurers or see patients.

What clinics must actually do for DHA license: Apply for a DHA licence; Renew your DHA licence; Reactivate a cancelled licence; Convert MOH or HAAD to DHA; Keep the licence inspection-ready.

Common DHA license gaps inspectors find at Dubai clinics — Practitioner licence expired but they are still rota-ed — facility suspension risk from day one. CME points not logged in Sheryan before renewal window opens — automatic block.
